Job description
Work as a member of the Northern Ireland Clinical Research Network (NICRN) to primarily support and promote the practice of Clinical Research in the South Eastern HSC Trust. Works unsupervised/supervised in day-to-day practice coordinating a portfolio of NICRN adopted clinical trials and other high quality research studies. You will be responsible for screening, recruitment, care, management and follow-up of a caseload of patients in clinical trials adhering to local and national regulatory, research and professional guidelines, policies and standard operating procedures. As NICRN is a regional R&D infrastructure, the post is peripatetic by nature. Your principal priority will be the successful delivery (on time and target) for your local i.e. South Eastern HSC Trust NICRN Interest group, adopted studies. However when capacity is available you may be needed by other South Eastern HSC Trust based NICRN Interest groups for the completion of studies under threat as well as NICRN supported studies in other HSC Trusts if deemed appropriate by portfolio priorities..
