Salary Scale: £67,285 - £71,978 per annum (pro rata for part time)

NHS Glasgow Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is the largest health system and teaching Board in Scotland with an annual budget of circa £3.9 billion (2022/23) it employs around 40,000 staff. We provide the full range of Acute, Mental Health, Community and Primary Care services to a diverse population of 1.2 million people in six local authority areas. Regional and national services are also provided across a range of clinical specialties.
The Acute service provides a complex range of Hospital services across the population of Greater Glasgow and Clyde we are now looking to add to the strength of our Management team through the appointment to the following role that has arisen.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and dynamic team providing Older People and Stroke Services in Clyde Sector. The Clinical Services Manager will be accountable to the General Manager for the delegated management and control of resources within the service. The post holder will be responsible for delivering performance targets in accordance with local, regional, and national objectives specified to the Clyde sector and the Acute Operating Division.

With strong influencing and leadership qualities you will require to evidence significant experience at a senior level in operational management in a healthcare or equivalent, complex environment and will have the ability to inspire confidence and respect to lead and deliver in a politically sensitive and demanding environment. Key to the success of this role will be the ability to contribute to the development of a strong, patient-focused culture which encourages initiative, individual and team responsibility and open communication.
