Clinical Studies Officer

Salary: Grade UE06: £31,396 to £36,024 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £32,982 to £38,205 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)  Fixed term, part time (21 hours per week) Applications are invited for a Clinical Studies Officer, to join the NRS Mental Health Network based within Kennedy Tower at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.  The Opportunity: Applications are invited for a Clinical Studies Officer, to join the NRS Mental Health Network based within Kennedy Tower at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.  The NRS Mental Health Network is funded by the Chief Scientist Office to support high quality mental health research in Scotland.   This post is part-time (21 hours per week) and the post holder will work on the delivery of commercial and non-commercial mental health clinical research studies supported by the Network within NHS Lothian.  This is a fixed-term post until September 2024, with likelihood of extension.  Your skills and attributes for success:  Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.  Experience of working in a mental health setting Experience of working in clinical research Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team
