Responsibilities
• Act as a role model and provide strong operational leadership• Manage and support Paramedics and Emergency Care Assistants within the Ambulance Operations Team• Ensure effective communication and delivery of ambulance operations• Induct new team members and support investigations• Promote a supportive and positive organizational culture• Undertake clinical shifts as an operational paramedic• Follow ECS and other agreed guidance in clinical practice• Demonstrate good medicines management practices• Maintain proper documentation and standards of practice• Continuous professional development and commitment to clinical excellence
Requirements
• HCPC registration as a Paramedic• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience as a Paramedic• Valid UK driving licence with C1 category• Recognized leadership or management qualification• Experience in leading and managing a team of clinical staff• Experience in delivering and facilitating clinical education and training• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills• Ability to travel to different locations• Willingness to work flexibly, including unsocial hours and weekends
