Clinical Trials Coordinator

We are seeking a Clinical Trials Supply Coordinator to play a key role in the supply of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) and the supply and retrieval of laboratory kits for large-scale national and international trials. This position requires compliance with UK and EU regulations related to Clinical Trials and offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of new methodologies to enhance the quality of current and future trials.

Ongoing temporary role. Based in OX3 area of Oxford

Day to Day of the role:

• Oversee key areas relating to IMP and laboratory sample kit provision to sites and sample retrieval, both nationally and internationally.
• Assist with forecasting laboratory sample kit requirements at various levels and forecasting IMP requirements at site level.
• Plan and procure laboratory sample kit components, manage kit manufacture, and coordinate delivery to sites.
• Coordinate laboratory sample retrieval from sites, liaising with site staff, courier companies, and laboratory staff.
• Manage spreadsheets to track samples requiring collection from sites.
• Respond to queries regarding unexpected, missing, or compromised samples and manage associated spreadsheets.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of SOPs and User Guides.
• Assist with the management of IMP product complaints and temperature excursions.
• Train junior staff, ensuring adherence to study operating procedures and providing solutions to issues.
• Establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including clinicians, site staff, couriers, and third-party suppliers.
