Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Band 7 NHSCT

To provide a high quality service to Clinical Health Psychology Services across the trust. To provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on service users’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other relevant agencies/organisations. To work within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Service’s policies and procedures, contributing to the delivery and achievement of performance management targets. To interface effectively in a multidisciplinary agency environment including statutory voluntary and independent sector organisations. To be responsible for a caseload of adults (18 and over) experiencing psychological distress secondary to a physical health condition, referred to the Northern HSC Trust’s Clinical Health Psychology Services. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the population served by the Service. .
