Cloud Architect (AWS) Bournemouth / WFH to £95k

Do you have expertise with AWS? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a tech company that provide a range of software solutions for modern transport systems such as tap in / tap out.

As a Cloud Architect you will take ownership of the company's AWS cloud services and seek to expand their usage. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure on AWS services, creating and implementing systems software to help scale and improve the systems. You collaborate with DevOps and development teams to identify and fix issues and streamline code deployment (CI/CD pipelines) and will also ensure the security of the cloud based infrastructure.

You'll liaise with senior stakeholders in an influential, strategic role.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based close to Bournemouth, three days a week; you'll need to be able to drive there, free parking available.

Requirements:

• You have expertise with AWS Cloud services
• You have experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• You have a good knowledge of DevOps and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline
• You have a good knowledge of Cloud security / SecOps
• You're familiar with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus and Grafana
• You have a good knowledge of on-premise infrastructure e.g. Linux / Windows, SQL Server / PostgreSQL and networking (Routing, Subnetting, Site-to-Site VPN)
• You're collaborative and have excellent communication skills
