Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Cloud Infrastructure to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and administrators on both daily operations and project work.
- Handle infrastructure and 3rd line support tickets, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Participate in on-call rotations (1 week in 4), dealing with occasional out-of-hours issues remotely.
- Use tools like Trello to manage and prioritise your workload, meeting deadlines and project goals.
- Engage in DevOps activities, particularly configuring systems at the OS level, especially Linux.
- Join daily team calls and regular onsite days to keep communication and collaboration strong.
- Proven experience in a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role or similar.
- Strong background in AWS and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage your workload independently.
- Experience with Linux configuration and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with occasional travel to Leeds.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Competitive salary between £60 - £65k.
