Our client, an established company delivering solutions through systems integration by designing, provisioning and supporting multiple IT systems, are looking to expand their growing team and are hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
In the heart of Liverpool City Centre, they offer a hybrid approach working 2-3 days in the office weekly. The role would involve supporting, building and maintaining their IT infrastructure internally as well as resolving issues from around 100 members of staff and maintaining back-end systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT infrastructure and working practices in-line with the EUC strategy across the company.
- Project assistance creating a zero touch provisioning model for client hardware
- Assisting the set up of remote connectivity (Azure / AVD etc.)
- Owning and resolving ticket requests
- Assisting with the implementation of Intune remote management
- Working as a team helping others with IT requirements
Skill requirements: (all or most)
- Azure Active Directory / Azure Virtual Machines / Azure Networks / Subnets
- Virtualisation - Hyper V Server
- Microsoft Office 365 / SharePoint / Exchange / Teams / OneDrive
- Intune - Conditional access & compliance policies
- Windows Server 2012 and above
- Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
- Networking Protocols
- Backups - Veeam
- Power BI / Power Automate
- Dynamics / Service Now / Salesforce
The successful candidate should have passed or is in the process of completing:
- MS-900 or other M365 exams
- AZ-900 or other Azure exams
Other Skills:
- Understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Networking, Server/domain- based networks
- Experience working with Azure platform
- History of working with MS Office Suite applications
- Prioritise, diagnose, resolve technical issues
- Excellent time management, meeting SLA's
- Active listening skills, friendly approach to helping users
