The Team and the Role 

 

At Equinix, we help the world’s digital leaders scale with agility during their digital transformation journey. 

 

The Cloud Alliance Specialist will focus on AWS, Microsoft, Oracle & Google.  

The Cloud Alliance Sales Team accelerates adoption of Equinix Services through Hybrid and Multi-cloud Based solutions for existing and new customers.  

The Sales Specialist will help define and qualify customer cloud transformation solution offerings with the Cloud Partners, Equinix Direct sales, Channel Partners, that help them achieve their cloud-based outcomes by applying Equinix’s Digital Platform and Services.  

 

This role is the Hybrid & Multi-cloud Application and Workload solution expert, able to clearly understand and articulate how Equinix Digital Services and Global Platform enables these critical and core Cloud services. 

 

 

The role in few points 

 

  • Drive Cloud centric prospecting and account growth within existing accounts or new logos with Equinix Sales Account Executives. 

  • Partner with Account Executives to identify, qualify, prioritize, and implement cloud centric solution offerings for short and long-term pursuit to achieve assigned sales objectives 

  • As trusted advisor, establishes coach in each Cloud Alliance in addition to Formal relationships 

  • Build and maintain positive Sell-with  relationships with the Cloud Alliances (Microsoft, Google, AWS and Oracle) - key & relevant groups 

  • Provides Knowledge Transfer to relevant groups in each Cloud alliance, e.g., updates to underlying services that impact uptake, usage of the cloud alliance services 

  • Takes lead on Cloud identified solutions to develop with Sales and Channel Partners   

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the Cloud Alliances (Microsoft, Google, AWS and Oracle) - key & relevant groups 

  • Work with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Digital Sales, Business Development, and the Global Accounts Organization on joint value proposition.

You bring extensive sales experience in direct or channel sales for similar solutions (internet, network, data center, hyperscale or cloud-based products or services provider). 

 
Ideally you’ve already sold one of these Cloud alliances or major partner: AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, in a sales or post-sales.
