Club Steward/Bar Manager

Scot Sports and Social Club are looking for someone to fill the position of Club Steward/Bar Manager.

Your responsibilities will be/What we would like from you:

We would like you to create a welcoming environment for all club members and guests at all times.    We hold many private events which involve bringing in members and non members.

Managing staff:

We have a small staff base we work closely with, these would need to be managed by yourself in ensuring all events and day to day running of the club are staffed efficiently.  Given we have a small staff base, we would need the Steward/Manager to encourage a positive working atmosphere at all times.  Some of our events require extra flexibility in your hours.

Maintaining Stock levels/Targets:

We work very closely with our Brewery alongside one of our committee members to ensure we always have the correct stock on site and we are always meeting our targets.  You would need to have a good understanding of profit margins and stock levels.

Experience:

We would ideally like our new Bar Steward/Bar Manager to have at least 3 years experience in a management position.  We have a small kitchen serving basic bar food so ideally you would need your level 2 in food catering and also be able to maintain high levels of hygiene.  We will also be asking the successful candidate to have a full DBS check. 

A little bit about us:

We are a sports and social club with a medium sized football club, bowls club, skittles teams and darts teams. We hold regular weekly bingo.  we have many private parties as well as our own members events.  We are run by our Committee and we have regular monthly meetings which you would be invited to.
