About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing. The successful candidate will manage and control all project-related documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain PFMEA and validation documents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects project requirements.
- Oversee documentation for CNC and manual process machines, ensuring all records are maintained and accessible.
- Support the manufacturing process by ensuring all relevant documents are available and up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and practices.
- Maintain documentation logs and databases, ensuring all records are accurate and easily retrievable.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in document control within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA and validation documents.
- Background in aerospace manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CNC and manual process machines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in documentation management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
- Location: Worcester, United Kingdom
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
