Join our dynamic and thriving manufacturing team in South Woodham Ferrers as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter! Our client, a leading manufacturer of high precision mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies, is seeking a skilled individual to keep up with their recent growth and increase in orders.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Utilise various measuring equipment to ensure all parts meet customer standards.
- Programme and set lathes efficiently while meeting customer requirements.
- Review older production parts to optimise machining processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Complete work according to the production plan.
The ideal candidate:
- Has at least 3 years of programming experience.
- Is experienced in using multi-axis live tooling.
- Can set various lathes.
- Is capable of carrying out first off, self-inspection, and final inspection.
- Has experience in machining a wide range of materials.
- Works well in a team and communicates effectively.
- Has extensive knowledge of Fanuc programming, including live tooling.
Desirable skills include:
- Cam programming knowledge.
- Experience in twin spindle machining.
- Background in aerospace.
- Apprentice trained.
