Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Load materials into the CNC machine and secure them properly for machining
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure the production of high-quality parts within specified tolerances.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.
- Make necessary adjustments to tooling, offsets, and workholding to maintain product quality.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members, including programmers and engineers, to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Record production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations, tooling, and workholding.
- Familiarity with G-code programming is a plus.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues.
- Basic understanding of quality control procedures.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
