Job description

With increasing growth, a new position has opened for a skilled individual to join our team. We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist with at least 3 years experience within a similar role.

Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, working hours 10am-6pm Monday to Friday

Your key responsibilities would be (but not limited to) -

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate wooden components for bespoke orders
• Able to work at a fast pace but still deliver to a high standard
• Able to run multiple machines at the same time
• Target driven
• Select appropriate materials for each order
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain all work areas in accordance to HSE and company guidelines
• Problem solve and report all findings to management
• Load and unload deliveries
• Load machines to keep machines running to ensure targets and met
• Carry out scheduled maintenance - training will be provided
• Carry out stock takes when necessary and in a timely manner
• Assist where is needed within the factory when asked

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a similar role CNC minimum 3 years
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Team player qualities
• Impeccable time management
• FLT Certificate
• A desire to learn new skills and to help drive company forwards
• Very high levels of Quality control awareness
• Able to use computers
• Woodworking background is an advantage
• Knowledge of tooling and machining

All product training will be given with ongoing support. Must be available for 10am- 6pm shift.

Over time will be available but not compulsory

Please note- There are two assessments which are a mandatory part of the application process. Failure to complete the two assessments will result in your progress to end.
