They're currently looking for a Machine Tool Fitter in Coalville, and the role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
As a Machine Tool Fitter, you will be working for an established manufacturer of world-class polishing machines in the field of ultra-precision surfaces. Their latest developments use intelligently controlled robot machines to polish complex surfaces for a range of diverse and technologically advanced applications across several industry sectors.
Examples of day to day activities include:
- Using precision measuring equipment: TalyVel straightness gauge or equivalents
- Using optical alignment telescopes
- Using Renishaw laser and ball-bar testing equipment.
The ideal candidate will have established Machine Tool fitting experience and the ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges. You will also require the following:
- Mechanical fitting experience in a relevant industry, and Machine Tool experience
- A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to self-start
- A willingness to solve on the spot technical problems
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, TalyVel straightness gauge or equivalents.
