Role Overview:
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production process, utilising your expertise to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines and ensure the accurate and efficient manufacturing of components. Additionally, you will be responsible for programming CNC machines and translating technical specifications into machine commands to produce precision parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.
- Program CNC machines using industry-standard software to execute machining operations.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
- Inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machinery, with a strong understanding of machining processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
