My client are a leading global Precision Engineering & Manufacturing company, specialising in integrated solutions for Aerospace, Defence, Medical, and related industries. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team who will be reporting directly to the Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up machines for maximum efficiency.
Efficiently manage production, including multi-manning machines when necessary.
Maintain production paperwork packs, including MIPC Sheets/Synchro Sheets and associated documents.
Care for gauging and measuring equipment in the area.
Collaborate with the Inspection Department for timely first-offs.
Uphold a safe, clean and organised work environment.
Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements.
Attend meetings and training sessions as and when required.
Maintain daily/weekly preventative maintenance procedures following site protocols.
The ideal candidate for this position must have experience as a CNC Setter Operator/ Machinist or have demonstrable work experience in a similar engineering/manufacturing role and proficient as a multi-skilled machinist in Milling/Turning with expertise in 3 & 4 axis machining, familiarity with Fanuc & Heidenheim machine controls, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and associated paperwork, and a good understanding both Metric and Imperial measurements. Previous experience of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 would be ideal but not necessary.

Salary up to 31,616 depending on experience.
Located in Ilfracombe
