Job Title: CNC Machinist/Applications Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £35k per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Monday-Friday

The Role

My client, a brand that operates internationally and world leading manufacturers of precision tools catering for metal machining. Whilst constantly expanding, they are looking to add an experienced Machinist looking to move away from the shop floor to the team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To create NC programmes with CAD Software.
• To test, run demonstration and prove out components on CNC machine tools.
• To generate quotes for specific tooling.
• To be able to communicate with the external sales team, and to be able to collaborate with teams internationally.
• To operate a 5-axis and CNC turning machinery.
• To communicate with consumers to be able to evaluate their specific requirements/specifications.
