Form of workCNC Miller - DaysLocation: Newbury, West Berkshire Salary: £18.29ph to £19.43ph / £38,000-£40,400 pa Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday Job Type: Permanent Benefits include: Private healthcare, premium rate overtime, relocation assistance, life assurance and free on-site parkingAn exceptionally busy manufacturing business in West Berkshire is seeking an additional CNC Miller due to rapid growth.The responsibilities of a CNC Miller:Setting and operating a variety of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Mills (Hitachi Seiki, Mori Seiki and Matsuura)Using Fanuc controls to set, operate and edit programmesPerforming self-inspection using handheld inspection tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers etc)The profile of a successful CNC Miller:Previous experience with 5 axis CNC Milling machinesIdeally experience machining castings and steelUsed to machining at tight tolerances to produce either aerospace or motorsport quality componentsFamiliar with self inspection tools and techniquesCapable of setting, operating and editing using fanuc controlsPrior use of either Edgecam, Unigraphics (NX) or an alternative CAM softwareExperience with Vericut software (desirable)The company: Well established Motorsport OEM business specialising in race spec products.
