SalaryOur client is looking for a CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join their team on the Late Shift in the Basingstoke area.
- Setting and operating both horizontal and vertical CNC Mills with Fanuc & Yasnac controls.
- Selecting correct tools, fixtures and programs for CNC machines.
- Re-setting machines for operators when required.
- In cycle and final de-burring prior to passing on to the next stage of production.
- Reading engineering drawings and programme for CNC machines.
- Carry out in-process inspection to drawing specification using a variety of measuring equipment e.g., micrometers.
- Management of programming updates and programming for new components.
- Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.
- A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Accurate numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Experience manufacturing precision components for Aerospace or Motorsport.
- Knowledge of Fanuc and Yasnac controlled horizontal & vertical CNC mills will be an advantage.
Please note that this is a Late Shift, Monday to Thursday type of role, 40 hours per week.
Working hours are 14:00 - 00:30 for which our client is willing to pay between £15 - £18 per hour (depending on experience) + Late Shift premium.
