Cnc Miller Setter/Operator

Adept Resourcing are delighted to be working with a large aerospace manufacturer based in Basildon who are now looking to recruit a CNC Miller join their shop floor team.
Reporting directly to the machine shop manager your main role will be to operate manual and CNC milling machines.
SHIFTS - Option of perm days or nights available.
SALARY GBP15.00ph - GBP17.00ph
Responsibilities:
Perform all general CNC Milling machining tasks
Setting up machines according to best practise.
Work accurately to customer requirements.
Able to read engineering drawings.
Inspect and check machined components using measuring equipment
Maintaining good housekeeping of work areas
Maximise efficient use of machinery.
Safe use of machinery and all tolerances and customer instructions are adhered to.
Working without supervision, ensuring production of quality machined parts.
Appropriate preparation on commencement of machining.
Follow and complete quality documentation in accordance with the company's quality procedures.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Operate and program CNC machine tools.
Work with complex engineering drawings.
Requirements:
Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings.
Fully skilled time served CNC Setter/Operator (certificates required)
Experience of milling machines - 3 & 5 Axis
Able to interpret engineering drawings
Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
