CNC Miller

Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number of CNC Millers to join our prestigious client in Glasgow on a permanent basis.

The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture, supply and service of equipment rotating equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation.

Successful candidates will be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards.

Candidates will be required to Set and Operate a number of different CNC Millers including a 5 axis Miller using Siemens and Heidenhain controls to produce components from a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Mild Steel, Brass and other exotics.

Candidates with experinece using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls would also be considered.

Job Description :

• Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC Millers using Siemens/ Heidenhain controls machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
• Aid where required in the fitting department
• Overhead crane operating experience

Candidate Required Skills

• Time-served with demonstrable experience programming/ Editing , setting and operating CNC Millers working to very tight tolerances.
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
• Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Siemens / Heidenhain/ Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
• Must have experience working on a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Inconel, Brass and other exotic materials
