SalaryOne of Ireland's leading suppliers of Sheet Metal Components, our client is undergoing a period of expansion and is seeking CNC Operators who are familiar with programming. 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday. Training provided and a path to progression within the firm.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan machining in line with blueprints, plans and materials, and in conjunction with the team.
Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
Set-up machines by installing and adjusting equipment.
Drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
Adhere to EHS Regulations
Engage in preventive maintenance.
Communicate with the team on progress of projects as they progress.
Update production logs.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
2+ Years experience working with Steel, CNC
Press brake experience is beneficial.
Relevant cert of qualification.
Programming knowledge is a benefit but not essential.
