Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm / Friday am-12.30pm

My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.

CNC Press Brake Operator

• Must have previous experience in Press Brake Operator role essential 2+Years
• Able to work with Trumpf controlled systems, or have skills on other machinery which can be transferable to Trumpf
• Able to interpret drawings for programming of CNC Press Brake to enable the fabrication of folded components
• Experience of maintaining accurate job tracking records
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Experience of working on own initiative and acting to resolve any issues impacting upon performance
• Good understanding of engineering drawings which include Understanding of Tolerances in various sheet materials, Mild Steel, Stainless and Aluminium with the ability to distinguish material specifications
• Competent at basic maths and dimensional measuring with the use of precision measurement tools
• Able to work pro-actively to improve productivity
• Assembly awareness, focus on detail and precision
• Keen to learn
• Flexible with excellent attendance and timekeeping

CNC Press Brake Operator

• Programming, setting and operating Press Brake Machinery
• Working with sheet metal in a manufacturing background with material ranging from 1.0mm to 6.0mm thickness and parts up to 3 metres in length
• Take responsibility for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed
• Construct detailed multi-fold programs to develop parts to match drawings 
• Operate Press Brake on existent programs, continuously improving them
• Select the correct punches and dies for material spec/design radii and drawing requirements
• Keep work area, including tools, machine surfaces clean at all times
