SalaryWe are working with a manufacturing / production company based in Bodmin that is seeking a CNC specialist to join their engineering team.
The company is seeking a skilled CNC programmer who is able to also use CAD/CAM software to create CNC programs and the supporting documentation for setting. The successful applicant will be part of a highly-skilled engineering team and will be responsible for the technical engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Creating CNC programs and accompanying documentation
- Creating processes and defining their parameters
- Developing programs that ensure maximum efficiency
- Working alongside the Quality Team to ensure quality processes are in place and followed
The ideal applicant would:
- Have experience of using CAD/CAM to produce CNC tool programs
- Have knowledge of multi-axis programming
- Have sound knowledge of turning/milling metal processes
- Be keen to manage projects and determine appropriate production methods and strategies
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, innovative and supportive environment
