Recruit Mint are currently looking for an CNC Machinist to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based near Wembley working as part of their team.
Principle Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist:
- The role will involve Milling and Turning of various components using safe recognised work practices.
- Experience with operating Hurco mills and Lathes.
- Proven experience in CNC programming for milling/turning machines.
- Previous experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling/turning machines based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proven experience in operating manual lathes and mills.
- Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to programs for quality and precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- An understanding of both G codes and conversational programming
Person specification:
- Time served fully qualified machinist to City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Be able to produce components from Engineering Drawings and adhere to specified tolerances.
- Able to operate a range of conventional/manual machines including lathes, milling machines, drills and saws.
- CNC/VMC experience preferred but not essential.
This is a full time Monday to Friday permanent CNC Machinist position, offering a salary of up to £42,000 plus other benefits including annual bonus, sick pay, company meals and events and more.
