SalaryExperienced CNC Programmer, setter, operator required to join are client based in the Medway area.
Our client is offering a competitive salary, plus shift allowance, plus benefits.
The role is for candidates to be able to program, set and run various multi-axis CNC machines ready for use in the manufacturing of high precision, complex components and assemblies.
Candidates need to be able to use a variety of measuring equipment and to follow manufacturing layouts, routings and control plans. You will need the ability to follow engineering drawings and specifications, together with the ability to understand GD & T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
You will need to identify the standard tooling and equipment needed for each task and to maintain availability of these items, ordering replacements as necessary.
Candidates suited to this role need to have gained an apprenticeship in and or gained experience within an engineering discipline and have a good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
This role is a split shift system, working 6am- 2pm one week and 1.45pm - 9.45pm the next. A good base salary is being offered together with a 14.5% shift allowance + benefits.
