Role Overview:
As a CNC Programmer (Turning), you will play a pivotal role in a production process, utilising your expertise to program and operate CNC machines with Fanuc Controls. You will be responsible for producing components to precise specifications, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and set up CNC turning machines using Fanuc Controls.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Perform tool changes, adjustments, and machine maintenance as necessary.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any technical issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, specialising in Turning operations.
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc Controls.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and machining techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
