The basics:
Job Title: CNC Router - operator
Environment: Manufacturing
Location: Derby
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm rotating weekly with 2pm to 10:30pm (20 minute paid break and 30 minute unpaid break)
Contracted hours per week: 40hrs per week anything over this is paid at overtime rates. 1.25 Monday to Friday, 1.33 Saturdays and 1.5 Sundays.
Salary: up to £14.50 per hour
Role: Permanent
Holidays and benefits: 21 days plus 8 bank holidays which increases with length of services, pension, onsite parking.
Overview:
Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a first class precision engineering business we now require a CNC Router Operator to join the team.
The ideal candidate / CNC Router may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience programming setting and running a CNC router machine
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to work with intricate parts
Commutable from: Derby, Nottingham, Castle Donington, Ilkeston, Hucknall, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
