Hours Of Work: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Overview:

Your responsibility is to maximise our clients efficiency in the manufacture of panel components, whilst following the procedures and record keeping providing live data on progress along with maintaining set quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• To undertake the production requirements in accordance with production instructions and the customer specifications
• To ensure the quality of the product manufactured meets with Company standards.
• To ensure the right material and tools are used in the right manner for the right job.
• To ensure any routine machine adjustments are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Always ensure you promote a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing the Company's Health & Safety policies along with the ISO 9001 / 14001 and regulations
• To be competent in setting up machines on trained competencies including trouble shooting.
• To support the responsibility for the managing of associated machine tooling eg. Saw blades, milling blocks
• To undertake any such reasonable duties that may be required from time-to-time by the Company.

 

Key Skills Required:

• Ideally have experience in several of the following; Assembly experience, CNC Router, Drilling, Edgebanding, Sawyer and Bonding
• Previous management or supervisory experience is essential
• Calm, methodical and positive approach to work in hand.
• Self-motivator
• Attention to detail
• Strong communicator
• Ability to interpret technical instructions
• Performing the same tasks repeatedly requires a good level of concentration, important for Health, Safety and quality control purposes
• Being able to maintain focus at all times is beneficial as the role is often fast-paced
• Standing for long periods of time, sometimes entire shifts, and lifting packages or materials requires a good level of fitness and stamina.
