CNC Setter / Operator (Lathes)

The company
A UK manufacturing company based in Kingswinford, with over 100 years of experience in global energy, nuclear, oil, and petrochemical industries. With 70+ on the shop floor and 100+ at the Kingswinford site. After an increase in revenue in 2023, the company are seeking to rapidly expand their team in 2024 to fulfil its various projects and is looking for a CNC Setter / Operator (Lathes).
The role
A CNC Setter / Operator (Lathes) is now required to join the team permanently. You will be setting, operating, and maintaining machines for our client's manufacturing and production processes. Your job is to ensure that their machines work correctly and efficiently, helping them meet production goals and quality standards. This is a four-day workweek (Mon-Thur), 40 hours/week 2.30 pm - 1 am (Mon-Thur) with Overtime available 1.33x Mon-Sat and 2.0x Sunday.
You will take responsibility for:

• Setting and operating CNC Lathe machines (Fanuc controls)
• Producing accurate manufactured machined parts to exact tolerances and quality checking these parts to make sure they meet standards and requirements.
• Working within the shop floor and providing input and support when required

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• 1+ year experience within a CNC Setter / Operator (Lathe) position in the UK.
• Set and Operate CNC lathe machines within a Manufacturing setting.

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Previous experience working within the fastener industry.
