Cnc Setter Operator Mazak

A manufacturer of industry recognised "best in class" capital equipment for the construction industry, is now seeking a CNC Setter Operator (Mazak) to join their small facility in Nuneaton. In its heyday this company was classed as a medium SME, supplying its products to businesses on a global scale, with a large portion used in the development of Dubai. They have plans in place to get back to those days and following various staff retiring it's now time to recruit various staff within the Production area.

The main responsibilities of this CNC Setter Operator role:

• Setting, and operating in line with customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate production logs and identify potential issues.
• Set tooling using the defined methods.
• Complete first off and last off inspection.
• Replace tooling as and when required.
• Complete manufacturing records.

Desirable skills and experience for the CNC Setter Operator role include:

• 2 years of experience within a similar role.
• Able to read and understand technical specifications.
• Experience with mazak machines / mazatrol controls.
• Proactive work ethic and attention to detail.
• Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education.
