Specialising in glazing solutions for domestic, new-build, and commercial projects, the company operates from a state-of-the-art facility equipped with machinery, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Our client is now looking for a CNC Setter / Operator (Milling) to join the team.
The role
A CNC Setter / Operator (milling) is now required to join the team permanently. You will be setting, operating, and maintaining machines for our client's manufacturing and production processes. Your job is to ensure that their machines work correctly and efficiently, helping them meet production goals and quality standards. This is a five-day workweek (Mon-Fri), 40 hours/week 8.00 am - 4.30 pm with Overtime available 1.25x.
You will take responsibility for:
- Setting and operating CNC Milling machines.
- Producing accurate manufactured machined parts to exact tolerances and quality checking these parts to make sure they meet standards and requirements.
- Working within the shop floor and providing input and support when required
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
- 1+ year experience within a CNC Setter / Operator (milling) position in the UK.
- Set and Operate CNC Milling machines within a Manufacturing setting.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- Previous experience working within the Windows & Doors industry.
