Workshop based in Frome. Commutable from Trowbridge, Westbury, Melksham, Southwick, Warminster, Shepton Mallet, Midsomer Norton.

The company are at the forefront of their specialist industry working on small-batch quantities of components and assemblies ranging in size from the palm of your hand up to 1.8 tonnes. Due to recent internal appointments and a change in ownership, they are looking for a new Manager that will bring energy and new ideas to bolster the production team.
Within this varied role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the workshop (10 machinists), identifying areas to improve efficiency and quality, maintaining health and safety systems, supplying practical help to the team and calculating any costings. Due to the excellent training on offer, candidates with any experience in CNC are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

• Day-to-day running of workshop
• Identify and implement areas to improve efficiency and quality
• Engineering support projects (factory layout/new machinery/tooling organisation)
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30 - 4:30)

The Person:

• CNC background
• Experience in a leadership role desirable
• Lives commutable to Frome
