CNC Turner Required!

Established over 40 years ago, our client is a second-generation, family-owned company which specialises in prototype and production services for springs, wireforms, light pressings, fine limit sheet metal work, laser cutting and CNC turning & milling.

They are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner competent at programming, setting, and operating.

(CNC Turner) - Position Overview

• Set up, operate & program CNC turning machines to manufacturer components.
• Adjust machine tools and equipment when required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
• Self-inspect own work, ensuring components are accurate against specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health & safety regulations.

(CNC Turner) - Position Requirements

• Experience in a precision engineering environment.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, set up and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

(CNC Turner) - Position Remuneration

• 39 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm & Fri 7:30am-12:30pm)
• £14 - £15 per hour (DOE)
• Lunch 30mins unpaid.
• Break 25mins paid.
• Workplace pension scheme
• Parking
