Position: CNC Turner Operator
Location: Fife
Experience: No prior experience required - Training provided!
Career Path: Progress to Experienced CNC Turner/Setter after training
Qualities: Ambitious, eager to learn, passionate, and keen to develop new skills
Key Responsibilities:
As a CNC Turner Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts according to specifications.
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
- Selecting and installing appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling.
- Monitoring machine operations to ensure proper functioning and making adjustments as necessary.
- Performing routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

- Working Hours: 8 am – 5 pm Mon-Thurs, 8 am – 2 pm Friday (Eventually moving onto shifts when competent)
