Gap personnel operating as an employment agency, are recruiting for a CNC Turner to work within a small, modern, clean and well-equipped Precision Engineering Company, based in Clevedon on a permanent contract.
Required Experience:
* Ideally you will have (Fanuc) CNC and manual turning experience with the ability to produce both one offs and small batches of high precision components. Other tasks include gear cutting.
* The successful candidate will need to be able to program, set and operate Fanuc controls and you will be using a Goodway machine with main and sub-spindle, with power tooling and Y-axis.
* Experience of manual turning, and gear cutting would be an advantage, but training can be given to the right candidate with gear cutting,
Pay rate: £16 per hour during 3-month trial period with potential higher earnings rate for the right candidate after probation.

* Holiday 24 days a year (to take on a flexi-booking basis) plus bank holidays. In addition, the days between boxing day and new year’s day when factory is shut. (36 days total)

Hours of Work:
38-hour week, days only. 7.45am - 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am - 3.30pm Friday. (Option to start earlier)
Lunch / Breaks: 12.45 - 1.30 and 10min break mid-morning.
