We are seeking a skilled CNC turner/ operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier products to our clients.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform turning operations.

Interpret mechanical specifications and drawings to ensure accurate machining processes.

Utilise precision measurement tools to verify component dimensions and quality standards.

Prepare & test run all machinery before task execution.

Oversee all machines whilst performing the requires tasks, ensuring necessary adjustments are made.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail to meet strict quality requirements.

Collaborate with team members to continuously improve machining processes and efficiency.

Maintain all machinery daily to ensure everything is functioning to standard.

Requirements

Must be a UK national and will need to pass security vetting upon employment.

Apprentice trained or relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, preferably in a similar role within an industry that manufactures high precision products.

Knowledge of live tooling.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical specifications, drawings, and technical documents.

Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.

Excellent mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Experience working with HAAS CNC machinery is advantageous.
