Our client in Gloucester are now recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter and operator on a permanent position for their afternoon shift which runs from 3.30pm to 1.30am, Monday to Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, Set and operate CNC Turning machines to produce high-quality parts using HAAS controls
- Previous experience working with HAAS or Fanuc programming is essential
- Create and load program, set and operate machinery
- Understand technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and precision in production.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
- Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in CNC Turning and knowledge of technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using HAAS or Fanuc controls and programming with G and M codes
- Ability to program, operate, set up, troubleshoot and maintain CNC Turning machines.
- Good understanding of machining principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.

37000 to 39000 per year, negotiable depending on experience
Overtime at standard time
