Cnc Turner Programmer Setter Operator

An exciting CNC Turner position has become available in Poole at a precision engineering company.

Job Title:CNC Turner

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday

Rate: GBP17 - GBP19, depending on experience

The Job:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications
• Producing offline and online CNC programs. Knowledge and experience of Edgecam software/programming is an advantage but not essential
• Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
• General high standard of engineering ability fully skilled
• Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

The ideal candidate:

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
• General high standard of engineering ability fully skilled
• Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential
• Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry.
