CNC Turner - Programmer/Setter

• Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm & Friday - 8am - 3:30pm.
• Salary: GBP15 up to GBP18 p/h, DOE
• Full-Time, Permanent

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Turner - Programmer/Setter on behalf of one of our clients, who are a Electro-Mechanical Engineering company based in the ST4 area.

What will you be doing?

• Programming, setting and operating a CNC Turning Lathe machines.
• machining a variety of materials such as aluminium, copper, plastics to super duplex etc
• Using Fanuc controlled machines.
• Machining a variety of products to be used for Motors, fans, gearboxes, Pumps etc
• Machining retrofit parts as well.

What do you need to succeed?

• Working on various Fanuc control CNC lathes.
• Experience working on CNC Turning Lathes.
• Must be able to program at control.
• Must be confident working with different materials ranging from aluminium, copper, plastics etc to super duplex etc.
• Inspect own parts using various measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of live tooling an advantage.
• CAD knowledge desirable (Mastercam and SolidWorks)
• 1 offs to small batch work.
