About the Role: As a Turner Programmer/Setter, you'll be a crucial part of the manufacturing team. Your main tasks include programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes, ensuring precision and quality. Familiarity with Fanuc control systems is essential for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and run CNC lathes
- Interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
- Select appropriate tools and fixtures
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality
- Perform routine machine maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner Programmer/Setter
- Strong understanding of Fanuc control systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Commitment to quality and accuracy
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
