We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner, capable of programming, setting, and operating a Proturn Lathe using XYZ Proturn software. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading both metric and imperial engineering drawings and using a range of measuring equipment. While Proturn experience is preferred, training can be provided. A flexible and cooperative attitude, combined with a strong work ethic, is essential in our small workforce.
Day to day of the role:- Program, set, and operate a Proturn Lathe.
- Read and interpret metric and imperial engineering drawings.
- Use a variety of measuring equipment to ensure precision.
- Assist with various tasks around the works as required.
- Contribute to manual turning operations, if experienced.
- Maintain a cooperative and flexible approach to work demands.
- Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, specifically Proturn Lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in both metric and imperial units.
- Proficiency in using a range of measuring equipment.
- Manual turning experience is an advantage.
- Strong work ethic and a flexible, cooperative attitude.
- Competitive hourly rate with overtime paid at 1.5x.
- Earning potential up to £34k.
