Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced CNC Turner to operate and set up CNC turning machines to produce high-quality precision components. The successful candidate will play a key role in our production team, ensuring the efficient operation of our machining processes.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards and meet production targets.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training in CNC machining or related field.
- Proven experience operating and setting up CNC turning machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining techniques.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
