If so, we want to speak with you! We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic CNC Turner to join our bustling team at the Prestwick Aerospace Park in Scotland.
As a CNC Turner, you will operate both manual and CNC turning machinery to perform internal and external turning of components as per customer specifications. You'll utilise inspection equipment to ensure adherence to all sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes. Your ability to work to tight tolerances and understand geometric symbols will be key in meeting our high-quality standards.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday:
* Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm (with 30-minute and 15-minute paid breaks), Friday 6am - 11am
* Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm (with 30-minute and 15-minute paid breaks), Friday 11am - 4pm
* Rotating shifts following a training period on the day shift
CNC Turner Requirements:
* Time-served Turner with recent CNC experience
* Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
* Skills in programming and operating CNC Turning machines
* Self-motivated attitude, detail-oriented, and effective communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a small, skilled team
