SalaryOur client is looking For A time served CNC turner setter/operator to manufacture mould tools in support of the rest of our business, along with small batch runs of subcontract items in various materials such as plastics and various metals. The Machine is a 2018 DMG ECOTURN 450 with driven tooling - but no y axis. It is controlled by a SIEMENS system. We also have AUTODESK Featurecam to aid with programming complex shapes, so experience here would be an advantage.
Skills required:
- Work to written instructions, operate / program the machine above with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative and help us produce quality products.
- Self-Motivated (we don t want people who only work well when watched.)
- Good timekeeping (turn up, be ready to work and then go home on time)
- Able to maintain professional friendly relationships and team-working
- Flexible and Enthusiastic with a Positive Attitude
- Good Communication Skills
- Prepared to accept responsibility and work toward Level 3 Inspection Training
- Committed to personal development / learning
