The role:
Operating CNC vertical boring machines
Fanuc/Heidenhamn operating systems
Working to customer specifications
Ability to read drawings / specifications
Setting tools
Editing Programs
Ability to use inspection equipment and inspect own work
Working on own initiative
Updating basic maintenance on machines (T.P.M.)
Raising P.I.R.'s if required
Working to 5s Standard in area
Safe handling of components, jigs and fixtures
Ideally the candidate will have expereince wtih the aerospace industry and have completed an apprenticeship program.
