Coffee Machine Field Service Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Coffee Machine Engineer to join our team to perform Coffee Machine installations, repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance for our wide range of customers.

A minimum of 1 year engineering experience working on Coffee Machines is required. Full training with each of our Coffee Machine manufacturers will be provided.

Coffee Machine Field Service Engineer

Location: covering a 50 mile radius of Milton Keynes which is where our office and warehouse is based. This includes working in the London area and occasionally travelling to further customers as far as Coventry, Nottingham, Leeds, etc. We are happy to offer flexible working hours for long distance jobs e.g. start at 6:30am and finish at 3pm.

• Fulltime, Permanent role
• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with occasional overtime
• Starting rate GBP28,000 - raising to GBP30,000 after 3 month probation period
• Company Van provided (also available for personal use if using your own fuel)

What we're looking for:

• Must have a Full, clean UK Driving Licence
• Over 25 years of age in order to qualify for our vehicle fleet insurance policy
• A minimum of 1 year engineering experience working on Coffee Machines
• Experience diagnosing and repairing faults with mechanical or electrical equipment
• The ability to problem solve and use your initiative to find and fix faults
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• A good understanding of electrical and plumbing works
• Good communication skills with both customers and team members
• Good level of IT knowledge
• The ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Experience within the Coffee Industry and working with Coffee Machines is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform Coffee Machine installations, repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
• Cover a 50 mile radius of Milton Keynes - this includes working in the London area and occasionally travelling to further customers as far as Coventry, Nottingham, Leeds, etc
• We are happy to offer flexible working hours for long distance jobs start at 6:30am and finish at 3pm.
• Work on a range of Coffee Machines in our range - Bean to Cup, Traditional Espresso, FLAVIA, Douwe Egberts Cafitesse
• Repair machines in a timely manner and make sure all coffee equipment is left in a good working order
• Provide machine demonstrations, technical support and training for our customers
• Provide a great level of customer service and communication to our customers
• Complete all necessary job sheets and paperwork, return any paperwork to the office when required
• Communicate with the office team to keep them updated on any outstanding jobs
• Record any parts used and order replenishments for stock
• Occasional overtime to suit your availability and the needs of the business
• Occasional paid weekend work for emergency callouts
• Fault finding and troubleshooting to get to the bottom of a breakdown and prevent it happening again
• Work closely with the engineering team to discuss jobs and complete together if required
