At The Island Tea & Coffee Co. we’re not just experts in delivering tea and freshly roasted coffee to businesses across the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, and the UK - we’re passionate about it. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who shares our love for coffee to join us as a Coffee Roaster.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Master Roaster, supporting the roasting of coffee beans. This isn’t just a job - it’s an art. It requires a technical approach, a keen eye for detail, and above all, a deep-seated passion for coffee.
We’re seeking candidates who are organized, methodical, and logical – who can follow systems and processes, in line with our SALSA accreditation. You should be enthusiastic, hardworking, and maintain a positive attitude. Full in-house training will be provided, so all you need to bring is your passion for coffee and a willingness to learn.
This is a part-time permanent position, working 16 hours a week across two days – Monday & Wednesday (8am – 4:30pm). The starting salary for this position is indexed above the National Living Wage/National Minimum Wage, with potential for overtime.
